Now we may see about the ways of determining the nature of the Panchabhoutik Jantram. The Panchabhut (five elements) and the Aandhar phase have various activities.
Firstly, the ‘realm’ and the ‘phase’ of the birth of the ‘Jataka’ will show an individual’s nature and character. Then the same elements will show the other aspects of the Jataka’s nature. Say, someone is born in the Teja realm or phase. What will be his age of marriage? How would his wife be as a human being? What would be her complexion? The determination of all these things depends upon the nature of relation between Teja and the other elements.
Kshiti and Apa have a sweet relation with Teja. If the marriage comes in the Apa phase – the nature and colour of Apa will show those of the lady. If the marriage is in the Kshiti, that will determine the same. Notably, there are people in various nations who are only black or only white. What is said above will not apply to them. But the elements will show their nature and character.
The phase which belongs to the jataka or jatika, will again show according to its direction, the same about the marriage. Which age will be the marriageable one? These depend upon ‘Dashantardasha’. For example, a Teja jataka may get married in the phase of Apa and in the ‘Antardasha’ of Teja. But marriage is not just a ceremony but an exchange of minds. The time of that exchange is no less a marriage.
The Byom jatakas are more successful in this spiritual and mental world than in the earthly one. The Kshiti jataka gains more material happiness. The Apa jatakas are lucky regarding their sisters and daughters, but not so in case of their sons and brothers.
The effect of the ‘Dashantardasha’ of the elements:
Kshiti is auspicious to Teja. The Byom phase and the Tejaantardasha is inauspicious. The Myarut phase and the Apa Antardasha are inauspicious. These will be discussed in detail in the next volumes.
